Learn how to take WordPress Backup
Taking WordPress Backup is a very good practice because WordPress launches its updates very regularly.
Some new update in WordPress or any Plugin might cause your site to not function properly or just for safety it is Good to keep your Backup ready.
Taking WordPress Backup is easy using ‘BackWPup‘ WordPress plugin.
1.) Install ‘BackWPup‘ plugin in your WordPress Dashboard.

2.) Under BackWPup menu, click on ‘Add New Job‘
3.) Make sure the ‘Database backup‘, ‘File backup‘ & ‘Installed Plugins List’ are all checked.
4.) Select your Archive Format (choose any ‘ZIP‘ or ‘Tar GZip‘ format)
5.) Now select your Destination, in this case we select ‘Backup to Folder‘
You can select your preferred destination
6.) Now after clicking on Save changes you will find ‘Run Now‘ option on Top.
Click on it, your WordPress Backup will start immediately.
Your Backup will take a little amount of time depending on the content of your site.
(Mine just took 43 Seconds.)
7.) Now you will click on the ‘Backups‘ button under the ‘BackWPup‘ menu
8.) You will find your WordPress Backup there, click on Download to save it in your Hard Disk.
And now you are done with taking the Backup of your WordPress Website.
(You can delete the Plugin once you have Downloaded the Backup, download it again whenever you feel its important to take the Backup)
